Jeremy Elliot
Jeremy Elliot is a Principal of United Family Martial Arts, a firm he opened in 1999. With five schools in Ontario, Canada, the firm's focus is on "Life Skills Through Martial Arts".
UFMA is a partner of the Foundation. Their facilities will allow for out-of-school programs in a Martial Arts environment. This is also where new coaches for the SumoKids Foundation will be trained.
Jeremy knows that Sumo is the "Grandfather" of all the Martial Arts. As a coach, he understands what the SumoKids Program can mean in a student's life. With the help of the Foundation, the program can be delivered to students who cannot afford individual lessons.
UFMA and The SumoKids Foundation share many common goals and philosophies. We both believe that developing skills to cope with life in these challenging times is important. Coaching directly with students allows Jeremy to share his broad knowledge with the young people who need it most.
